A Pair of Monkeys

I have FINALLY finished the Monkey socks. I had both socks complete except for the toes last Thursday, but ran into a snag when I couldn't clarify something about the pattern with Zoomom. I finished them up tonight and they are comfy!

Let's see if I can remember any details about these. I got the pattern from Knitty.com. I knit these on 2 circulars using Knit Picks Options size 1. The yarn is Claudia Hand Painted Yarn in Ink. I enjoyed knitting with this yarn very much.

Nice pattern! Did you block your lacy socks? I have never blocked socks...but I know lace needs it sometimes!

Love your blog! Thanks for dropping me a note...so I could come over to see you :o)

I love this pattern and it may be next on my list. I also really like the color scheme of your blog!

Thanks, Donna and Courtney!

Donna, no, I didn't block these socks. They are sort of scrunched on your leg when you wear them. I don't usually block my socks and I don't think these are lacy enough to matter.

Courtney, I've been eyeing that RPM sock. It is on my list in the side bar (I think). I'm a big fan of pinks and purples and mauves. :)
