Purrrrrr.....

Can you hear this little cat as it walks up my legs?

The cat foot print socks are finally complete! I'm so proud though that it only took me about a month to do both socks while learning two new techniques!

Here is a closer shot (sorry it's dark) of the little footprints.

Specs: I used Blue Moon Fiber Arts Socks That Rock in the Lucy colorway. I used two circular needles in size 1 from Knitpicks. These have a short row toe and heel using the method from Misocrafty's blog. I got the cat feet pattern from Wendy's Knits.

Next pair of socks are being swatched now. Can't wait to get started on them. New pix to come once I have more than a toe completed.

Where on Wendy's website is the Cats Paw Lace pattern? It looks very much suspiciously extremely like the Field of Flowers pattern I borrowed from Heirloom Knitting. Rows 1 and 5 identical, row 3 has k3 between the holes???

Lovely sockies. Lovely yarn. Can't wait to see the next pair!

Yeah, Penny!!!
So glad to see the finished sockies. They look wonderful! How do they feel? Congratulations on a job well done!

Maybe we should plan to our own little KAL for our Tampa yarn. I don't have any plans to knit with it soon but we could think of something. There must be a pattern calling it's name.

Carolyn, I emailed you, but here is the link to Wendy's cat motif

Thank you and Beth for the compliment.

Beth, Sure we can do a KAL with Tampa! Not sure what pattern though. Any ideas?

Forgot to say...I like the feel of this yarn. I've only worn Trekking socks thus far so this has a different feel to it, but it is nice.
